Guatemala is home to one of Latin America's largest and most colorful markets! In the town of Chichicastenango in the highlands of Guatemala, we found a vast market selling all sorts of traditional foods and products.
But being there is only half the adventure; getting there is just as fun! We did it independently on the chicken buses of Guatemala, changing buses 3 times and taking a water taxi across the lake. Here's all the info if you want to visit the same way as us:

2. Chicken Bus to Solola
3. Chicken Bus to Los Encuentros
4. Chicken Bus to Chichicastenango
5. Same in reverse to return to Lake Atitlan
