Gucci Brixton or Prada Triangle loafers - Which pair is the better purchase?
I am styling these two very popular loafers and comparing them with each other.

Such a great topic for a video. Actually I would not think of these two shoes as alternatives to each other, but both are beautiful and you style them so elegantly, it is helpful to see your discussion of each of them. It seems they serve different purposes (for example, I have the Gucci ones in this colour but the mules, and don't wear them in the winter unless it's at home with guests, but I don't love them any less. Winter in Mitteleuropa isn't too great for thin-soles shoes lol). Meanwhile I love my Flattered loafers and also love the look of similar loafers by Aeyde. I will also say I tend to gravitate to chunky soles in the winter just because one's foot is further from the cold ground! PS I loved buying my loafers in the store, because the experience is so lovely. But this was in the Before Times (before pandemic).

Omg I bought this loafers from Prada today, I just went to have a look at the boutique and tried them on and they were so comfortable and looked nice. I wanted to try another model less chunky, but they were not available. I wanted a pair of loafers for work and tried in Church, YSL and they did not fit, but these pair was something special. Normally I do not buy pair of shoes straight away, hopefully it will be easy to style them. I found that it's not so easy sometimes to style Gucci loafers, it's difficult to find a bag to pair with them. Thanks and all the best from Vienna 😉🌷

Hi my dear, Such a coincidence 😍. I think these style of shoes go best with more cool/laidback outfits. I wear them usually with just a pair of jeans and a jumper but it also looks super chic with a suite. They break down the seriousness of a look and make the outfit talk for itself. Hi my darling!! I absolutely love both but I think the Gucci are more my style - also LOVE the colour! It's so rare to find someone with the same size feet as myself, so I love seeing what you think of shoes! I usually take a 41.5 or 42 but will sometimes squeeze into a 41 if I like the shoe enough. I’ve been loving the Prada loafers! I might have to bite the bullet. I tried them on at Nordstrom and fell in love. Love my Gucci loafers and mules too.

It would be great f you could try them at home with different outfits and see if they fill a gap in your wardrobe. Specially if your Gucci loafers are in black. (I wished I had said that in my video :/ ).

I just ordered (and received) the 42 mens shoe. So glad to know I’m not the only one who has the size problem 😂😂 Italy: make womens’s shoes run up to 42 at least! Hahahah! I have tried them on 10 times…still not decided. I love them but I’m afraid it doesn’t look as good on me. However, you persuaded me 😂💸 Now I have to find ways to style it that don’t make me look too…butchy. I’m a plus size girl 😳 Thanks for the lovely video! 👏🏼😘

Aww, thank you so so much for your comment! It is so good to know there are other women with the same issue. I love brands like Jimmy Choo and Stuart Weizman for making bigger sizes for women. For me those shoes were love at first sight and I did not need any convincing as mentioned in the video. I really hope you get a lot of wear out of them and enjoy them as much as I do and wear them with confidence, because this is what truly makes things look beautiful.💕

Gucci feel like suits my style which is more feminine and classic. I own the mules and love them but they are in ivory color but im planning on getting the Gucci in black.

Sadly the Gucci gray ones are no longer available. For alternatives I recommend massimo dutti loafers, almost the exact color but with dark grey metal which suits the grey leather more.

Hi so glad i found your channel 🙏 Subscribed 😜 I was looking to purchase these Prada shoes and also fellow 42+ wearer 😂🤣 why brands dont make women shoes at least to 43. With that being sad i also was looking in men section. So please please advise what size (men) did you choose is it 9 ? I dont know should i go with 9 or 9.5 ? I am planning to purchase online, so its hard to know. Could you please let me know what is your insole? Mine is 10.75 so i can really fit in Chanel shoes😂 My feet are more on wider side, well or medium( if its not too narrow in the toes), but definitely not narrow. I went with 42. I think you should be fine with European size 42 too(since they are true to size). Here they have them still in all sizes: bit.ly/3xDpMBJ I hope this was helpful! 💕

To be honest for a full day of waking I always wear trainers. I have worn these shoes for many hours a day at work but there I mostly sit a desk or in a meeting and don't walk much. The Gucci loafers are great worn without socks too. I hope this was helpful💕.
