My thoughts: Really good but it smells more
Compared to Iris Ganache Iris Torréfié is the masculine Iris and Iris Ganache is the more femme. Also, I feel like IT vs IG IT smells a lot stronger and denser compared to IG which to me feels light and airy.
Lipstick meets coffee? Smells great!

In French you say eereess torefyé, accent on the 2nd syllable of “iris”. It would be so awesome if you took a French class!

Angelique Noire is my favourite from the line and of course I love Spiritueuse Double Vanille. These two I will always need in my collection especially the former. I also own Tonka Imperiale but find it either doesn't last on me or I am anosmic to it..I never seem to get compliments when I wear it. I do love a coffee note and so this new one sounds interesting.

I love it. A dark iris, less powdery than usual iris, (which I like a LOT better) but you mention coffee a lot and on my skin I just dont get that much coffee. However it is acidic. Its wonderful. Most I hear not liking it are women, just an observation, but not sure why. I recommend highly.

I love smelling Dior Homme Intense on my husband. So much so, that I’ve sprayed it on myself! I’m definitely interested in this one. I do enjoy lipstick scents.

I just smelled this fragrance yesterday! I really like this take on Iris, it's not too powdery or 'vintage' smelling. The coffee and tea notes in it keep it a bit earthy and sweet. I have never smelled the pre 2020 Dior Homme, is that the one that you were referring to, that smells similar?

Great review Sebastian! I was fortunate enough to sample this scent (thanks to my wonderful SA at Saks ). I was not a fan. I experience the same sour note in the opening and I like tart scents. I also smelled more bitter chocolate than coffee maybe my nose is broken but I did not care for the opening at all. It’s like there is a fight between the coffee note and the iris. It becomes much more pleasant in the dry down but I don’t have the patience. Got to love the opening so this was a pass for me. I love Guerlain’s l’art a la maitre collection and have quite a few from the line

In "theory" you can get Dior Homme Parfum for the cheap, but it's pretty much a myth at this point though lol

I tried this in store a few days ago and it wasn't a conclusive experience unfortunately 😣 I should say beforehand that I'm not a fan of iris but I thought that the iris-coffee accord would make it more appealing to me but it didn't. I expected warmth from the roasted coffee note but I didn't smell the coffee in this perfume at all, maybe because it was actually a sour note as you said ? All I smelt was the ultra powdery side of iris that I don't get along with at all 😓 I had high expectations for this perfume since I am a huge fan of the L'Art et la Matière collection from Guerlain but I was very much underwhelmed by their last two releases, this one and Embruns d'Ylang sadly ! I have never smelt Iris Ganache before so I can't speak about that one but I haven't found a wearable iris for me as of yet ! P.S. : The "s" at the end of iris is actually pronounced in french as well 😉

3:35 almost all of the big fragrance reviewers here on youtube have the habit, when they explain their scents: they shake and push and throw their fragrance bottles around and gesticulate in "sign language" some have 3 or even 4 bottles in their hands whilst gesticulating. Jeremy manages to do that with even 5 bottles. sometimes they drop, I have seen it 3 times. Cuba was lucky, when a 50 bucks fragrance felt. Moustache.. Jeremy was unlucky when his camera stative lost balance, due to uncontrolled movements of him, and the stative felt on his Creed Aventus on the table which then dropped from the table down to the floor.... - broken glass, and a lot of fragrance on the floor. Chaos Fragrances once dropped a bottle of Carlise..... it felt on a bottle of Ultra Male on the table. Luckily Carlise won and Ultra Male broke. I am hoping to see more of that.

Love your videos! You are correct that a final "s" is not pronounced in French. However, there are always exceptions in French. Iris is one of those. There's even a KZfaq video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z9mppbR6sq6aaJc.html&ab_channel=HowtosayinFrench%3F You are also correct that a final "e" in French is not pronounced - except when it has an accent like that in "torréfié". It's like the cooking term "sauté"

For those who don't want to buy a too expensive fragrance and who like iris torréfié, know that Dior homme eau de toilette has EXACTLY the same composition and the same smell.
