Yep I tried the Extreme one yesterday.Just very beautifull scent,not feminine or overly sweet and very potent as well plus it seems to project well.Really well crafted scent,I think it gets many compliments since my mom also mentioned how great it smelled in the air.The plum I think would make it a great fragrance to wear in the summer nights as well since it gives it a good amount of fruittiness.Overall an incredible scent made from a high quality perfumery house👏👏

Constructive feedback: do some slow motion b-roll around the fragrances in your comparisons and reviews, I think it'd look really nice. Other than that, you're very informative and definitely my go to fragrance channel lately, glad I found it. 👍🏻

I really like the l'homme Ideal line. Cool is my most complimented scent; almost every time I wear it, some colleague is making me a compliment. However, my personal favorite is L'intense, it smells so nice upscaled, well put together, it's a great date/ night out scent.

L'homme l'intense is best one in my opinion. If u like the edp u'll love the l'intense aswell , they're almost identical. Just a bit stronger and longer lasting.

Recently got the Extreme, it has a slight tart, leathery scent right off the atomiser, After a while it transforms into a cloud of a slightly powdery(almondy), tobbaco tart-ish goodness. It exudes refinement.

Intense blew my mind. Was instant love.

The Edp is too sweet for autumn, where I live. It's a great fragrance, but a little too heavy on the vanilla, so for me it's winter only. Still it has a wonderful sillage! The Extreme is my autumn "go to" Homme Ideal.

The EDT, EDP and L'Intense are my favs from the line and I use them interchangeably as my signature scents. The EDT is the most expressive with the original DNA but all are classy, elegant, unique and special. Deliciously guilty pleasure and pure love.

I don't find L'intense to be stronger than EDP. Maybe at the first 10 minutes. But I can get whiffs of EDP's cherry and almond after hours and hours while L'intense's vanilla, smoke and almonds get very mild and skin scent after 2 hours... But there's something about L'intense that keeps me coming back to it. It's not the smoke, because I was told I would get a lot of it and unfortunately it's just a little (and I have the black bottle!). But I think the pepper together with the vanilla and almond give it a gourmand vibe, whereas the almond and vanilla in EDP I find to be a little more dry, maybe to compensate the juicy, almost licorice cherry. So I find L'intense to be much more enjoyable for much more time. The cherry in EDP just gets old after some wearings while I keep coming for more of that pepper/almond in L'intense

I only have L’homme Ideal Cologne unfortunately but I’m gonna try to get my hands on the EDP soon. The Cologne is beautiful though👌🏽 a little too loud off my skin for the summer, but spring and fall is perfect for this one. Definitely will be rocking Cologne this October 🤙🏽

L’Homme Ideal Sport is a great fragrance to wear when you want to wear something and be inoffensive. I actually started to like it more than the cologne only because I’ve gotten more negative attention than positive attention from that fragrance.

My 3 favorites are: 1) Intense 2) EDP 3) Cool But in general the whole line is completely amazing!!! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

I also would like to point out that those type of “elaborate” fragrances almost REQUIRE to wear something elegant. It sits way better on man with a coat and boots than a man with Nike Airmax and a puffer jacket. Nice descriptive video though.

Tobacco leaves made into a tincture or absolute smells heavily of plums to me and not the smokey pipe tobacco most people think of. Of course tobacco doesn't smell like strictly plums, but there is a heavy smell of them in it

For me is Eau de Toilette the best, the parfum version is to heavy for me and Extreme is also Oke 👍🏻

Imo out of Extreme and Edp. I like Extreme. But i'm not sure of when i smell it on someone else. I am talking about when spraying on myself and sniffing it over the day. I tend to not pick up on the EDP smell much, it's not very strong for me, although people say it is plenty strong. For me the smell of the Extreme is much more nice smelling, and the edp doesn't hit me with a strong smell. Although I think it may just be my nose. I just bought the Extreme recently for just under £70

I wore Ideal Cologne last night and for some reason I could smell something spice-like, yet there's nothing spicy in the notes lol. I haven't worn it in a long time

I've had the EDT for years and only now looking into the wider world of fragrances. I'm obsessed with almond notes so I think I chose right from the start but I'm very curious to sample the others from the line.

Cool is the only one from the line that I’ve yet to pick up , extreme was a real pain in the ass to find , I had to end up paying way more than I wanted to on eBay for it but it was still a great buy , that and the edp are by far my favorites

I think sport is really a good one that’s bang for your buck I actually picked one up for 40 dollars and for something that’s really well made and smells decent I think it’s a good buy

By the way, the collage of letters that you mentioned, at the back of the label/pack, if you look closely, i think it says something like : "No Need to "BE" "YOU" anymore, Have your fragrance" Ideal L;homme (IDEAL MAN). the BE and YOU are hidden behind the other letters and are in CAPS and BOLD. we could re-arrange the words to interpret in a different way too... funny slogan....

I got the new bottle of extreme, I hope the scent hasn't changed along with bottle. I love the scent tho, I bought an expensive almond soap years ago from Italy and it smells just like it.

Great review of this Guerlain Line, I have the Extreme red cap 2020 batch code, it is very nice one elegant, classy and a bit of playful. Good performance. Also found some Cologne from 2015 batch bottles of 50ml for arround 20USD, it is creamy and warm fresh with some grape fruit almond and withe musk. This one has 5 to 6 hours longevity. Both of them grow on me a lot. It is nice to sample all the line to choose the best for each personal smell, but the all line is very good and solid.

You can get the Cologne freely in the uk and fairly cheap too. I would happily purchase it for you and send it over.

Saying the original is the lost child just doesnt make any sense. If there were any lost childs in this line itd be between cologne, edp and sport

I think this whole line is done. They are so hard to get in stock. The company is changing their bottles and discontinuing so many from this line. I would not be shocked if they axe the entire line. I don't own any, but really want to. The prices have gone way up and are all around $100 now. That is a little expensive, but might be cheap if they do cancel the line and all the prices double over night.

I recently bought a bottle of the EDT (black sided bottle, if that helps any). I really wanted the EDP or Intense, but I know at least in Canada this line is harder to find. But I was wondering if anyone else finds it incredibly subtle, somewhat hard to smell?
