"Operate" Does not always involve patrolling in full tactical gear. It can also involve simply being aware and prepared with what you have where you are at.

All the guys that keep operating around our farm will find out they’ve run out of ammo soon enough. I think it’s a balance, practice but also make sure your ammo is stacked because I have a bad feeling many will be caught with their pants down and their rifle will be as useful as a baseball bat without freedom seeds. Muscle memory in shooting can be accomplished without firing a shot.

Need to get #3, have all of his other books based on your prior recommendation. Funny thing is when I go to the VA EVERYONE says they were special forces, a ranger or airborne infantry at least. I guess the only REMF was old M.I. here supporting the entire Army by myself, lol! Like Clint Eastwood said in Dirty Harry, "A man's got to know his limitations..." just because I was in the Army and shot a few guns does not mean I know much about the subject, most people really don't. That is why I bought the books so I can learn some things from one of the best! Smart people are smart enough to "know their limitations...".

"Do you even operate, bro?" Yeah, these 'operators' are so brave and well-trained that they left (and continue to leave) it to a 17 year-old to take the responsibility to repel rioting and looting communists from destroying a US city. According to the reviews. The books were considered too expensive even by the people that bought them, however it seems everyone that has actually purchased them stated that once they had received the books the knowledge obtained far exceeded their expectations and was far more valuable than the cost. That says a ton about the content and the author. I believe I will have to order all 3 copies. 👍

Lot's of gun training programs in America are centered around the AR-15. The AR-15 is definitely prolific and in wide use. A proven system. For all of us that prefer a non AR type rifle. Examples: FN SCAR, Robinson Arms XCR-L, H&K G-36, even AK's. All non AR style rifles work somewhat different. All use the 5.56x45 ammo and STANAG magazines. Take the Robinson Arms XCR-L rifle. You can't pay enough money for a XCR to jam. Mostly because of a humongous long stroke gas piston with Godzilla sized attachment lugs connecting the piston rod to the bolt carrier group. With a multiple gas adjust system that blows through grit and grime like gang busters. So no problems like the AR-15. There are not many recorded occurrences where XCR-L, FN Scars and others to compare non AR's to AR-15 systems. Maybe if I live in your area I could visit and you can try out one of the many non AR style shooters, the RA XCR-L.

The hardest lesson was self control and hot situations. To remain calm and use your greatest tool will not be found on a gun range or a mock battle. It's the real test and no one is really ready for it until it occurs. Everyone that faces it knows it. When you lose a friend you go ape and later on you may start doubting your ability to hold your own. This is the nature of war. When you doubt yourself you are in danger. Even muscle memory can fall to the wayside. That's what I know

I ordered all of his books in one shot on mid October. Three days later I realized I had ordered from an old link. My fault entirely. I emailed him asking if I needed to reorder the correct way. He took care of everything all I did was give him my address and two weeks later I had a giant stack of knowledge. I’m half way through Forging the Hero now. Buy these books.

No matter what what military experience and training we have had in the past. No matter what rank we were. We are never experts but only students. I'm a veteran I have gone through training I have been on operations but what I know is only the tip of the iceberg. One important lesson is not to think you know everything or just enough.

When I was a much younger man; my mom told me, “never test an old man, son.” You are the epitome of what I always pictured. Love your work, Pastor.

Did U know my Pastor Fox in Ohio is older than you. And I do love him like a Father. The church is non-denominational. And yes we do go to the range. Welcome to the county of Crawford.
