It is great to see MESBG return to this channel and I do enjoy watching a nice battle report! I have started playing the game since you last posted a MESBG video about 4 or 5 months ago and noticed a few odd things? I know you play a lot of games so it is easy for rules to blend in from other games I suppose. - On a heroic move the model who calls the move must move first or not move at all. You can call a 'with me' and all troops within 6 inches can move with the hero, if they choose not to they cannot move later on in the turn. Everyone must end within 6 inches of the hero - Magic is done in the movement phase not the shooting phase - An Ironhills captain is a hero of fortitude and can only lead 12 troops - Once Dain has killed one person he must then charge every turn there after if he can, if he cannot he has to charge towards the nearest model - Cavalry models with lances or war spears gain +1 to wound on the charge. You also gain 1 attack on the charge Either way, it is great ot see this back on the channel! Please do more :D

Few things Noticed here. The hero calling the heroic move must move first. Twice with Lurtz there he didnt move first. Further, if you pass a resist test with will and roll a natural 6 you get that will point back. The captain would have been able to resist the immobilise that was cast. Magic is also cast during the move phase. Also the troll causes terror so models charging him would have to pass a courage test even if it is engaged in combat. Dain wouldnt have killed the troll in that combat too. Strength 5 on Defence 8 is 6's. So would have only done 1 wound. Otherwise, good batrep. Enjoy seeing MESBG on the channel :)

I really like that there is more middle earth content on youtube but for gods sake - read the rule book guys... There is no magic phase and S4 vs D7 is a roll of 6 to wound. Also a lot of sloppy movements - this game is a lot about positioning so if you move your guys through other models or much over their allowed distance, it really takes a lot from the challenge ;)

I really really miss seeing this game on here, it's what brought me to the channel and I quickly lost interest since this one's upload. I'd LOVE to see it come back again given all the new releases since!

Great battle rep, I love Isengard! Just one question: why using 2 dice to cast terrifying aura? with the lord of the istari rule (you can re-roll one die when casting or resisting), you only have 1/36 probability to fail terrifying aura when casting with 1 die...

I enjoyed the content but there is loads of errors such as not using magic in the movement, S4 killing D7 on 5s, etc.

Sorcerous Blast does a Str 3 to everyone knocked prone btw, so Lurtz being knocked down because in was in combat with Dain would have resulted in him taking a Str 3 hit too :)

I'm a simple man, I see dwarfs, I hit like. Looking at the RM Studio terrain, I'm wondering if you could chain some of it together to use for the Rangers of Shadow Deep Mission 3a: The Broken Stairs? You'd probably need to stack some of the terrain pieces on something to increase the verticality, but I bet that would look badass.

Without knowing the rules, this game appears to make next to no sense!! But damn it looks like a lot of fun! haha

You can't trap someone with two models. They can always "back away" horizontally

I hope this battle was played before the new edition came out..but even then that ironhills captain leading 15 models is wrong,in old edition he could lead top 12 and now less.
