It also changed how people played when it was originally released. For it's time it was Crazy and the only reason it's not good anymore is strictly because it's a trap so you can only really use it going first, but if you go first you have an established board of monsters that you don't want to clear for your opponent. The only playable deck that can really use Torrential now is Traptrix since their monsters have Trap immunity but playable does not necessarily mean good...
