Most ridiculous crime I heard was a car theft where a child was inside the stolen car. The car thief went back to the parking lot, gave the child back to their parents and then the thief proceeded to lecture the parents about child abandonment and poor parenting. After the thief finished lecturing the parents, drove away in the stolen car. I don't remember what happened next but it was kinda hilarious to read about.

10:43 I remember seeing this crime on On Patrol Live on a Wanted segment, they lost the money, and I think they also lost their vehicle as well

working at the county jail, we say this all the time: we have jobs for a reason...lol also, there was this one guy who got arrested for arson because he burned down his former place of work (I think...) and the building next door got caught too. The cameras showed a male clearly wearing a wig and hat destroying the stuff inside and setting it on fire....he also destroyed the tv/computer as well so I don't think they had a lot on camera that survived. Then later he went to the police I believe to report something (can't remember what) and he had a damp towel to his head and he gave some excuse. They talked to him and just the stories he was telling made it obvious to them that he was involved....they later either got his permission or a search warrant to search his place and they found a bag from a party store with 9 wigs and hats inside, plus the receipt that said he bought 10 wigs and hats. So with everything combined, they arrested him for the charges; and his mug shot, his eyebrows are burned off and he has a visible line from where the wig was 🤣🤣

Here is another one. Saw this one on TV. Cops pull over a guy in a pickup truck for DUI in a parking lot. The guy speeds away while throwing several beer cans out the window and the cop just stood there watching. WHY??? The guy was SO DRUNK he just did circles around the cop until backup showed up.

That story gets even better if you read about the whole thing. He even took a picture of himself before the robberies to make sure it worked. When he looked at the picture and was invisible in it, he assumed that it worked. Unfortunately for him, he didn't have the camera pointed at his face when he took the picture.

As a teenager I was out dropping off resumes and overheard the bus driver talking to another rider about the Subway we were passing. Turns out the cops are there once a month because it's always getting robbed (he had a buddy who was an officer). Let's just say I did not drop a resume there EVER.

Here is one and YES it did happen. Local small town satellite bank got robbed by gun point. The robber took off with a few hundred dollars. The cop caught him only 1 mile away on a bicycle and got him on 3 charges. 1- Armed Robbery, 2-Position of a gun and 3-Shoplifting (the gun was a toy gun stolen at a local drug store across the street).
