@@hx0dIt’s recognizable. These dialects are not different languages and they’re mutually intelligible. Muslims generally have some knowledge of Arabic and they’ll definitely be able to recognize a few shared words or words that they heard in religious settings. I say this as a Syrian Arab.

As a Ghanaian, I knew she wasn’t from Ghana because Nigerians don’t speak Twi. Ghanaians speak Twi. I heard her spoke Yoruba, so she’s obviously Nigerian. It’s one of the languages they speak. I knew some of the words she said in Yoruba but not everything else. It was fun and educating to watch! 😂
