Nitesh there's a very emotional story behind this song. This song was inspired by real events. When baglung highway was under construction, songwriter would see one pretty girl breaking stones all day near the construction site. and he fell for her. But he could never reveal his love for her. The project was completed by some Chinese construction company. He wrote this song in the memory of that girl. I think song writer was an engineer or some construction worker,.

yes this is true, song was written by sarubhakta during the period while travelling from pokhara to naya pul, where Chinese company were constructing the road. I red this long back in a article in kantipur daily
