I’m excited to see the 3rd phase of the relationship between James & Ken. They went from competitors in the GOAT tournament, were chasers together for 2 seasons on The Chase, and now they’re host and contestant.

James was such a powerhouse on Jeopardy, it kind of amazed me that Ken bested him in the GOAT tournament. Now I feel like Ken is the master and mentor and James is the student who will be ready to roast Ken like he did to Brad.

@@pvrunner8 It's not surprising Ken beat him to me. They only played first to win 3 games which isn't a lot when you consider how much luck there is in jeopardy. They're very evenly matched so Ken winning wasn't a surprise. If James won a rematch that wouldn't be surprising either. I'm not even sure Ken is actually a better player than James, but he won when it counted so he will get the title. It will be interesting to see how James does in this current competition. Like I said there's a lot of luck, so I can see almost any of them winning with the exception of Sam and probably Andrew. The rest are good enough to potentially win if things go their way, although James is the favorite for sure.

All I have seen described is that it is round-robin style, with 20 games total (which allows for every possible combination of players). Each episode will consist of two games like the GOAT Tournament, and apparently the episodes are set up so that whoever doesn't play in the first game plays in the second. And so unless there's a next step after that sounds like it'll be a matter of some sort of accumulated score (I don't have a clear idea but it looks like it could be points like it was in GOAT, but I guess it could also be wins) to determine the overall winner.

Dang, that is certainly a bit more complex that I was originally expecting but putting the two winners of the previous day against each other is both an interesting way to try and control against runaways while also preserving the "King of the Castle" format that is the returning champion. Someone could hypothetically run away with it and always play in the second game of the night during the round robin, though.

@@samandros3451 James is definitely the best player, but there's' a lot of luck when you're up against other tough players. So it really shouldn't be shocking unless Sam or Andrew were to win.
