I'm a young black mechanic/ hardware nerd, I used to watch a bunch of racing. I flipped to "RuPaul's Drag Race" on the guide one day, I was sooooo confused. This monologue was the funniest thing on JKLive in forever. RuPaul is an entertainer.

Yea a gf wanted me to watch the show and I thought: this is funny af! He makes a great host too. I'm a hetero and still laughed hard. He brings joy and pizazz.

A couple of years ago, I had invited a good friend to a lovely day of classes at the Rubin Museum. During our lunch break at a nearby restaurant, she suddenly took offense at something I thought was friendly conversation and stormed off, saying that she needed a break and would be back to the museum sometime later. Bewildered and sad, head down, I walked back toward the Rubin alone. Suddenly, something told me to look up and who was coming toward me down the sidewalk but RuPaul, like a plaid-clad angel! He was chatting with another man. I normally never bother celebs in NYC, but I was so upset...Almost in tears, I called, "RuPaul! I love you! May I please have a hug?" He looked at me and didn't hesitate. "Of course you can, honey!" was his reply, and I received a wonderful, warm hug. Then we each continued on our separate ways, my faith in life restored. RuPaul is the real deal!!!

Yea, he does. He's totally made for hosting and entertaining. I think late-night is the best time block for him, because he can make more crude/risqué adult jokes that wouldn't be so appropriate on daytime television. He's hilarious and his timing and delivery are perfect.

I watched it, and I cannot understand how it didn't get a second season. It was so good, and the production values were through the roof. And the cliffhanger it ends with - I need to know what happens next! It's rude that netflix cancelled it.

I'm loving his approach here! I definitely think he's more late shows vibe rather than day time shows tho. He seems more comfortable, the audience is more receptive and the jokes can be a little more spicy, which is something we all love from Ru. Also, I won't lie, I'd love to see him host Jeopardy!!!

RuPaul is bust-a-gut funny. His recent SNL episode (with Thirsty Cops) is one of the best SNL episodes I've ever seen. Jeopardy would be much more fun with RuPaul hosting.
