Surely you make a good point here when it comes to saving up money instead of buying meaningless alcohol or cigarettes. However, no human is perfect. His main problem is that he was neglecting his responsibilities as a restaurant owner and leaving all the work to his family and employees, leaving them in exhaustion and frustration. I'm sure the family wouldn't be that concerned if it was only for alcohol or smoking, but I agree that they are useless consumables just like many other "consumables" out there. I think getting rid of his irresponsibility and balancing his time for his hobby would probably help him overcome the huge consume of alcohol&cigarettes as well. To conclude, we all have flaws. We just have to find a way to lessen them.

@@demiya6443 Of course, we all have flaws. I notice flaws everywhere and I frequently point them out, which makes some people believe that I am negative. Some also think I am arrogant, which isn't the case, but it's how I'm perceived, so it's not less of a problem. It's something that I need to work on. I don't know how to be humble, I say things the way I see them, which is the reason why people consider me arrogant. I wish someone could teach me how to properly deal with those issues, but most people can't give clear instructions or guidance. So I have quite a few problems. I have trouble admitting fault as well, since I'm rarely wrong. However, the issue isn't right or wrong, it's that someone is hurt by it, yet I can't apologise.

@@CottidaeSEA I understand you perfectly somehow. I'm also very quick to point out mistakes and flaws on others since I am very observant and intuitive. But I also think I suffer from mild "perfectionism" which is probably the reason why I appear to be aggressive or arrogant sometimes, just like you said. I think that you shouldn't be concerned about pointing out flaws, if you do it rightfully, gently and not hypocritically. However, I would suggest to reflect on your own lifestyle and use that ability to point out flaws in yourself as well. That way you can become more humble.
