Thanks to RSTV for telecasting Jaspal Singh's interview. He has got an amazing & unique voice quality. His high notes are superb. I was a teenager when Geet gata chal was released and all of his songs with Arti Mukarjee were super hit, specially the title song. I remember that All India Radio used to play geet gata chal every single day on listener's request. Later Sawan ko Aanee do, and Doohee from Ankeyo ke Jharooko se was also very popular. Music Director Ravindra jain gave him a break. Unfortunately in late nineties, trend in film industry changed and he didn't get a chance for play back singing but he did well doing some live shows. Can his daughter or other family members create/update a page at Wikipedia and face book so that his fans can know about him.
