I know this comment was made two years ago so it's not particularly relevant now, but some studies have in fact concluded that immersing yourself in a language, not only by hearing it spoken, but also in it's culture, can help you speak a it much better. I agree. I admire, respect and love the East Asian culture and it’s people. One of the most wonderful places on this planet. I love China, Japan, Singapore and Korea and will certainly visit one day despite the fact that I live in England. Simply the most beautiful places and people that exist.

You sound like you need help... Korea is not like in Kdramas or Kpop, that's a very unrealistic view of a "fantasy" Korea. Real Korea has lots of problems, we call it "Hell Joseon". It's very difficult to live in Korea these days, even for Koreans. The most accurate portrayals are probably Parasite and Misaeng. As a student, you wake up at 6am, study all day, come home after midnight, eat dinner, sleep a few hours, repeat. And then, after having no childhood and even with a college degree, unless you manage to get into a top university or come from a rich family with connections, it's difficult to get a job, since everyone has a college degree. They discriminate by your looks over qualification when hiring people. Then, if you manage to get a job, you work all day until late at night, because living costs are too high compared to your wage. You're not allowed to leave when you're done with your work, you have to wait until your boss leaves, so you just waste time at work doing nothing, but having to look busy. Barely any vacation, no time to enjoy life, all you do is study, study, study, and then work, work, work, work, work. Life is good for the few rich and powerful that control everything and a struggle for everyone else with few perspectives, it's not like in America or Europe with many opportunities where your background doesn't matter and you can be successful if you're creative and you just work hard enough.

Korean music sounds softer compared to Chinese and Japanese music, probably due to the Gayageum being made of silk which leads to softer sound, while the Guzheng and Koto have metal threads leading to sharper sounds.

We have a family with Guzheng, Koto, gayageum, dan tranh members, dan tranh is the only female version, the rest are male. So the sofest one is not Gayageum, Guzheng even sofer than Koto and gayageum. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hsCqrbabzd-wY2g.html

It is unbelieavable how powerful this music is. I've gone through dozens of relaxing videos and this is the only one that instantly makes me breathe deeper and slower. Great for keeping focus too.
