Curing Also antother problem with relentless set is that if your champ has built in Extra turn in his kit , it wont proc it's effect .

Even a bit outdated these days, comprehensive breakdown was super helpful! I came here for the reflex and regeneration, stayed for the relentless. Four turns in a row doom priest and drakes for life!

A little known thing I wanted to point out for anyone who doesn't know about it, hit the "i" on the artifact upgrade screen then scroll way down. There are more detailed descriptions of what all the artifact sets do towards the bottom. :)

@Ash As a few people have pointed out, Lore of Steel DOES work with the enhanced basic sets. I don't know if always did, but the description was mis-worded, or if it was changed. But the new description is that it enhances set bonuses to BASIC STATS, not bonuses from basic sets, and that is currently correct.

Ash, divine sets DO work with lore of steel. Lore of Steel will boost any artifact set which boosts a basic STAT (not basic SET). ATK, SPEED, and HP are all basic STATS, so the divine sets work. I have tested this out with my own gear, so this is not just speculation.

Another fun fact with Ignore DEF abilities & savage set + helm smasher. You can actually ignore more then 100% of a targets defense & hit MUCH HARDER! my Huntsmen with savage + Cruel & helm smasher procs hits for over 400k on Force affinity mobs. They also have DEF down + Weaken debuff. You can pull similar numbers with Mountain King & other champs that ignore DEF

I use frost set on skullcrusher, works great for crowd control in the arena.

Ash I had Freeze on my Duchess. When she did her A2 and A3 she was doing Veil or Perfect Veil so she is the only one being targeted. Worked pretty well in Arena. I now have her in Stalwart along with 4 of my 5 team for UNM CB.

I'd say avenging is better than retaliation in arena because most of the time you'll be hit with crits anyway, so you get that extra 5% chance with no real trade off.

I've been wondering why they don't downgrade some of these sets to 3 set! I'm so glad to hear you voicing that!

I like having full sets on my champions so I think it would be a great change to the game if all sets were 2 piece sets and the stats of the sets were modified to make them balanced at a 2 piece set. That way you could have a champion with some of the more niece sets like destroy without having to sacrifice them also having a CR and a SPD set

I did not know Lore of steel did not work with the Divine Speed set. Glad I watched this video. Time to put my Apothecary back in a base speed set.

BTW if full turnmetre after frenzy set boost . i guess use A1 auto cant use a2*3*4 skills thats why its not suitable to support hero except a1 ability supports. i use frenzy on lanakis .it works cb after 16-17turn its become nautural counter attack. free %15 cont heal himself .

Ash, lore of steel boosts all artifacts (2 piece) that boost base stats (hp, atk, def, spd, c. Rate, c. Dam, resist, acc) by an extra 15%. This came with 1.14 update.

New player here (3 weeks atm), thanks a lot! Got a question: Many of the sets, like, Relentless (I got a full 4 star purple set outta a tourney I ended up first, where apparently nobody cared 'cause otherwise there's no way I would'be ended up there haha) anyway, was saying, many sets state: "xy% chance of z happening", so I was wondering: ¿When does that die get rolled? That _chance,_ when does the game check for it? At the beginning of each turn? After an attack is performed? At the end of the champion's move? When I order a pizza? :-D Got another question! Regarding "Shield Ally", does it mean the guy wearing the set gets to enjoy the benefits, or just the other guys in the champion's group? Thanks again! Ps. The only use I found for the curse set was for my Frostbringer (mid game) for spirit and FK. That allowed her to keep her 60% def down up, while she buffed my team with speed+ATK and reduced the boss healing.

Retaliation Gear works best on champs that have an A1 that has a chance of extra turn! Or a Bad-El, Vrask, or any champ with a important A1 function.

Would love to see this made again for 2023

Would have been good to talk about the value added with using Lore of Steel mastery.. which would help boost those basic two piece sets

Im not sure if u said it..... but does stalwart and immunity work for your whole team if one champ is wearing it, or is that only with shield artifact?

Retaliation for me is highly underrated. Put it on Rotos and he will almost guaranteed counter everything that hits him. With the masteries passive and his broken A1 its just like: You hit me, i kill you. He gets the counter, he get the extra hit on A1 so he basicly is an always hitter. Specially good in cb if someone doesn't have a ca champ like many of us dont...

I got it wrong from the beginning. then found proper explanation on Plarium forums, where people cursed it. and from your video I found, that's its viable for end game arena. i will not trash my 5* Immunity items now, but keep them for later.

Okay. I normally feel like you smoked a bit too much doobie doo before you do your videos. This was your best video for me, at least where I am at right now. It helped a lot and thanks for that. I am mostly f2p and struggling with gear since I have to this point focused on getting more 6 star champs with masteries. Now I have all these 60's with masteries and many don't have gear. I need to dump a ton of excess gear and start to farm the dungeons. This helps me target which dungeons will reward me the most. I already knew about Dragon being the best. I would love to see a break down of what gear to keep and sell for mid game player or low spend players. Defense/Attack/HP% gloves and Boots are always a tough one for me. I pretty much don't keep the boots unless they have rolled speed in them.

Hey Ash please put a video on where its ideal to farm certain gears at certain points in the game, for example if i'm lacking speed gear, should i farm campaign to get it started or do i farm dragon anyway and hope i get lucky?

Most of those lesser-used armor sets would be better as 2 piece sets and people could use them with the sets they do need for raids PVP or whatever..

So glad I watched this I was about to farm destroy to take down ultimate death knight in arena and these caps ruin the set

They should make some of the 4 gear sets into 3 gear sets to get the bonus or increase the percentages because some of them are under powered

I don't know this, but I would be surprised if reductions in defense are additive. My guess is there multiplicative. So for example, if you have Savage that reduces defense by 25% and you have an ability that reduces defense by 75% and the enemies defense is 100, you wouldn't add 25% and 75% and get zero defense, I'd be willing to bet that you'd take 75% off 100 (again assuming for this example the target has 100 defense) leaving 25 defense and then take 25% off that, leaving 18.75,
