While +defence helps your own ship take less damage during a fight; lowering the enemy attack will cause EVERYONE attacking that enemy to take less damage. Something to consider about Ed for group fights, no pirate is an island. 💪🧡

First of, thank you for making these series on SoC. You explain everything very well, and taught me more than a thing or two. There is one thing, that i might disagree with and that is % vs raw stats on equipment. If the % stat on equiment boosts the total amount of e.g. attack, acquired by all 4 equipment slots, raw ship stats, and hero stats combined, than the % stat is obviously better. Will see tomorrow, to tired to log back in. Keep it up. En onthoud, je bent geweldig.

I would like to suggest to emphasize more on character guide too. -Have a guide for each legendary/epic/rare heroes scaling them from best to worst on each rarity -Which skills to prioritize first on each heroes -Which team comp will be a character to fit in -Which heroes are meta -And finally for each new heroes being released, i do suggest to make a review on them so that players will have the idea if they will pull or not on that hero so that their hard earned Conch will not go to waste 😊

Hey Bob. Thanks for the info. I’m confused about the tower and port situation, especially with the patch. Do your ports need to be connected by towers? Or can you just leave one tower outside of the port you’ve captured and move on?

Here's a newbie stupid question: those active naval warfare skills, do they get activated automatically when in normal sea battles? In the very first chapters of the main storyline there were a couple of battles where the game zoomed in and I had a broadside view of the ongoing battle, and then I could activate Henry and Betty's skills at my discretion. But this doesn't happen normally (or am I missing some way to activate it?). And I don't see a way to use any active skill while in normal view sea battle.

Ive been told by one of the bigfer guys in my gang the best builds for pvp are artillery cutthroat and strategic, any knowledge on if this is true or not? The dude says because its just straight chunk damage no aoe or dot its just attack n health gone, where as drowning n burning do dot effects and take a min to really get going and then you have to be able to keep it going for it to be effective. He also said if using burning n drowning heors although the ideal set up is to have them all on the same ship he says to space them out one on each ship. He says that if you have 3 burn heros on a burn ship and that ship goes down, you lose all 3 stacks of that tick damage, where as if you space them out n one ship goes down you still have 2 more ticking away on the trarget, n altho the initial damage may be slightly less you will be doing more damover all the longer the fight lasts.
