@@KingsofCountyEM Walking in like it's ACLS class in order to attempt to gain honors is incorrect for two reasons: 1. Trying to run a code as though you are the doctor is arrogant, dangerous, and you can't order the medications. 2. It is a good idea to collect your thoughts, but you should be able to put out your presentation -based on your level of knowledge when you are completing that clerkship (i.e. students that are completing their first rotation will not be able to present like a student that is completing the clerkship at the beginning of their 4th year)- in a somewhat cohesive manner (attaching a video link might be helpful). 3. Asking your preceptor what he wants from you is the best thing you can do in order to gain the most from this experience.
