It took me 32 yrs to realize that this hymn is a prayer in song form. I never realized the significance of this hymn growing up cause I was told that it was “old fashioned” but now that im older I find myself turning to these “old fashioned” hymns for consolation.

This is what saves. You cannot deny it, somebody sitting in the back of an old wood floor church and that anointing of these old songs would fall and next thing you know somebody is shouting and crying. Yes, we need this again. We need a revival.

I was dealt a devastating blow and it knocked me to my knees. I lost everything including my praise. But I started humming this song and the Lord heard me and answered and through this song I found my praise again!!! So grateful

You are on to something...there is a reason you can't find the song in that key. He is singing in A432 instead of A440, and probably not on purpose. He is probably just a naturally enlightened individual! If you are a musician, you probably notice playing along with him at standard tuning or on your keyboard just doesn't work.
