Hi Ma'am, as an NRI, you cannot fill out the form on the CARA website by yourself. Instead, you need to contact your Authorised Foreign Adoption Agency (AFAA). You can find the details on the CARA website. If there's no AFAA available in Mauritius, you can reach out to the Indian mission or the Indian embassy for assistance. They will help you register your application and handle the paperwork on your behalf.

Hi First of all thanks for such an explanning videos. We are a married copule for about 7 years of happy Marriage. We both are Resident INDIANS, living in New Delhi only by Birth. *I had few Questions, with respect to adoption.* 1. Refrence letter is compulsary for 2 known persons for Indian prospective parents? 2. My brother in law is married, Does his letter with signature only? or Both brother in law and his wife had to give the letter with signature? For legal guardianship letter, if in case of any Mishappening happens to both of us ( prospective parents) ? 3. Regarding police verification, I had checked a lot as it's a lengthy process and takes about 2 months, and the validity of the same is only 6 months. So at the time of referral, we get only 30 days time for adoption, so that might be difficult to get the police verification done within 30 days, Can you help me out in this?

The waiting period of PAPs depends upon their seniority and availability ofchildren as per the preference of children given by PAPs regarding age, gender, healthState/UT of child etc. However, the PAPs can access their seniority with their login ID andpassword. The medical certificate is mot related to Infertility, it for the medical fitness

Hello Sir, we are applying in CARA. My wife's address is still her home's in Adhar card and in other documents as well. Kindly let me know what document do i need to submit in address proof, as me and my wife are staying together but in her documents the address is not changed as mine. Pls suggest at earliest.

If you have own house then in Address Proof you can Submit Electricity bill, Wifi bill or Gas bill and if you have rented house then you can submit Rent Agreement or Wifi Bill. Passport also works as the Address Proof.

At the time of Registration koi fees nhi lagti. At the time of Home Visit and Adoption and after Adoption There are 4 Follow ups Visit. You have to pay fees for all this.
