Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada is the most visited national park in Canada. Together with Jasper and Yoho National Parks, it is one of the most beautiful places on earth.
This video is a guide to the top sights at Banff National Park. There are "must do" sights, "recommended", and "do if you have time" sights. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful pictures and videos to give you a feel of the place.
No picture or video can do justice to the grand scenery of Banff, so be sure to visit!
The recommendations are geared towards "mature" but active people. These are sights that are reachable by car or s short (less than 5 mile round trip) hikes. I'm sure there are grander sights and more solitude with longer, backcountry hikes, but that's not within our ability so I do not cover it.

What a beautiful park, it's too bad about that construction. And what a Chateaux, it's huge! I guess it kind of indicates how many visitors they expect to have annually.

Yes - it's expensive! We didn't do that -- too rich for us. Just looked it up again - July 3rd 2023 for a room with 2 queen beds lake view is $1414 US. You can have it in January for a mere $395 though :-)

I had an earlier version of this where I commented on this but deleted it because the video was getting too long. I did mention it at the end of this video. Stay tuned for the Jasper one where I mention it. I figured that since we are almost done with the US parks, I'd give the more popular parks in Canada a visit.
