The 14th Army is something I've become very passionate about and would love to encourage others to look into. These Lee tanks were part of the 254th Indian Tank Brigade and represent the 3rd Carabiniers. These saw a lot of action during the Battle for Imphal and then took the fight back to the Japanese until the end of the way.

Well done. It's amazing how much stowage you can put on the rear deck just so you don't have to paint the tow cables!

The machine gun turret on top was usually removed by the British

Yes, you're not wrong, but not always. I've seen photos of them with the Cupola still attached in Mandalay, 1945. I also read that some tank crews loved the MG at that high position as it give a better elevated position to shoot down at the Japanese when in thick undergrowth. Great spot though ... perhaps the next lot I'll do without 😉

Fantastic please do keep up with the pacific! In regards to the grant turrets where grants used in burma? I'm new ro tge burma theater but its one of new interest lol

I absolutely will, I've got plenty planned 🙌 it isn't as popular but it's such an interesting theatre. Yes, Grant and Lees were both used. I think Grants were more common towards the back end of 44 but they were certainly used in India & Burma. Really good work Kristian👍I wonder if AK Interactive Real Color range has the scc 13? They seem to have most ww2 afv colours covered.

Thanks a lot buddy 🙌 that's a great idea, I'll check out AKs range. In all honesty though, I'm a sucker for Tamiya paints. That's why I don't mind the constant mixing to get an ideal colour 🤭
