LIFE in PERTH is a BEACH!
If you are looking for unique things to do in Perth then head to the Beach! Perth Western Australia has over 124 Kilometre of metropolitan coastline, so whether you are after swimming, snorkelling, fishing, boating, surfing, bodyboarding, walking, or simply having a picnic there is always a beach waiting for you.
This video takes you to some of my favourite inner-city beaches in Perth that are within 30 minutes away from Perth CBD/ and is also accessible by public transport.
1. Cottesloe Beach (25 minutes away)
Voted Australia's favourite beach in recent years because of its feathery soft blonde sand, aquamarine ocean, grassy parks and nearby restaurants. In March of each year the Cottesloe Beach is transformed into an outdoor gallery of giant art installations at Sculpture by the sea. Admission is free and allows visitors to wander around and immerse in themselves in the impressive art exhibit.
Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club also patrols the northern side of the beach for 1.5km in the summer months.
