Right! This was so much more rewarding. It was an early enough time such that you couldn't just find a 100% completion guide right off the bat (on the internet, at least) and you were genuinely surprised by the unlocks and encounters, like Cooler on Namek, or unlocking the secret stages! In fact, I've only just learnt that the Saibamen and Cell Juniors were unlockables thanks to this video. 😅

My ps3 died and I didn’t back up my saves from years ago. Currently playing several of my games to re-unlock everything from scratch. And I forgot how tedious some of the characters are to unlock in this game. This helps a lot! Thanks!

Budokai 3 stays the pinnacle of Dragon Ball games to me. Everything was very well thought in this game, and I remember being able to spend countless time to unlock everything with an unlimited fun.😊

You can also unlock Bardock if you have a Budokai 2 save file on your memory card too.

So pretty much after every red dot , skim through the whole map and make sure you dont miss anything bc after a red dot interaction the map spawns change

Budokai 3 is the best one to me I love 2 as well and 1 for nostalgia tenkaichi 1 and 2 were amazing as well but pale compared to 3 imo

After I beat frieza the first time I don't get the marker on the left where vegeta is only the right and middle one. It's my 2nd playthrough any idea why? I'm using breakthrough idk if that's the problem

For bardock there is easier way to unlock him if you have budokai 2 save file you can unlock bardock easy

Hey, is it maybe possible that if you don't safe all 3 people before fighting Recoome that your Goku playthrough is screwed? 😅 I didn't get the 3 dots after the first Frieza fight because I forgot to give a Senzu to Gohan and Vegeta before initiating the Recoome fight, or so it seems.

You have to beat Vegeta’s DU and then you can get the third dot

Sorry if you already explained this Judd but I have every Character, breakthrough and all tournament stages. I’ve literally unlocked everyone. Is the key to getting all the ultimates after that really is just buying them in the skill shop ? Need that supernova for cooler and minus energy ball for omega among others of course. PLEASE HELP SIR !

You might already know this, but if you use a characters breakthrough, it comes with all their ultimates. But, if you’re looking to have just the ultimate and one skill capsule, I’m afraid the only way is by going through the skill shop and spending hours, hoping and praying that the Random algorithm gods will give you what you’re looking for best of luck.

It’s random what shows up in the skill shop. Have you unlocked breakthroughs from all the dragon balls in all the dragon universe stories? Might have to do that also.

Just so I understand the break-in of the Dragon Arena correctly, I go in with a LV1 against a LV30 and then just continue to fight against everyone that's 30+ levels above my character to get the Saibaman?

Yes. I would try to get a power or two if you can and I thought omega shinron worked best

So THAT’S why I’m not getting any dragon arena break ins using my lvl 40+ Goku, it’s been driving me crazy Edit 30 minutes later: I finally got Cell jr lol Edit 2 hours later: I now have all of the capsules (I already had I think 3 of them prior to finding this video)
