"I cannot avoid all hurt in life" that's powerful. Also, feeling hurt doesn't make you weak, it makes you human. Be gentle with yourself

It didn"t necessarily made hurt go away but i was able to cry a little and that helped. Ppl can be so selfish and ungrateful. I actually feel hurt for someone else who really does npt deserve the disrespect. I think i need a meditation now for anger

I found this meditation beneficial in diminishing the suffering I am experiencing in a very complex situation that, so far, has not had a good solution.

I really appreciate the spoken voice… I’ve been disappointed in all my searches for guided meditations, because they’re so pretentious sounding in their voices like they’re too new age or spiritual for their own good. I really appreciate how this one was just normal for a change.

Wow this helped me so much to avoid lashing out at my spouse when I felt hurt by their actions. Instead I was able to comfort myself and feel emotional peace. This had a profound impact on me. Thank you 🙏🏼

Hallelujah! This actually helped and I’m so grateful. I was disregarded recently by someone i thought was my friend who I’ve already shared with her I do not like being ignored, so instead, she disregarded me which insulted my intelligence. I wanted to block her, but instead I found this video. I gotta stop running and just move on even if I feel like I’m not care for, or being gaslit. Thank you so much!

This meditation was helpful in that my understanding of social anxiety was improved. When you feel hurt that people won't like you, you feel dis- connected from people and isolated and alone. You may find yourself so uncomfortable that you have lost your concentration and focus so that you no longer pay attention to what people are saying and don't understand what they are saying. If you are a person who wants to understand, you are hurt again by your failure to understand. Voila: Anxiety in a social situation. Hope this helps you and me!

How about validating n consoling the hurt... Saying ' I'm sorry you were hurt...' You did not deserve that....😓😓🙏

Any advice on what it means/ how to not tell a story? Because I'm autistic so it sounds to me like... You're not allowed to have any reasons for what happened or acknowledge how it feels or why it feels that way. But I've also been told that's invalidating and gaslighting myself. So is there a healthier meaning for that phrase that I missed?

I think that means to focus on the feeling itself and not on the reasons for it, for this meditation. Then, when you feel better, you will be able to address the situation without these strong feelings.This is not invalidating yourself, this is to help you feel better, that's all.
