📖 I can't believe I made it. It took a year but the archives are now complete. The final faction culture we will be reviewing is the Sultanate of Aserai! The Aserai are a camel heavy...nah we both know that's not true. In reality the Aserai are perhaps the best general purpose faction in the game (besides the Empire). They can easily field virtually any type of unit. One and two-handed infantry, skirmishers, light and heavy cavalry, horses archers and even heavy skirmisher cavalry! This can lead someone being an Aserai purist to make whatever army composition they dream of using only Aserai units with the exclusion of crossbowmen. Downsides of Aserai? Aserai units can find themselves outmatched when facing units of the same type vs factions that specialize in them. Take into consideration as well that shields in Aserai are quite weaker in durability compared to their counterparts which is something that shouldn't be overlooked. Whether your tactics are simple or complex you should be able to make the most out of your troops and remember. Do not mess with the Aserai!
