Our show is like a family and over the years we have gotten to know each other’s quirks. Guillermo has a lot of phobias. So to help him with one of them, we staged an intervention of sorts and sent him to a virtual reality therapist.

Exposure therapy helped with my anxiety tremendously. It’s just not an overnight solution. You do something multiple times til you stop caring.

Not necessary I beat my shark fear in a similar way meaning just looking at the scariest looking shark pics I could find on google and it actually worked😂 so i came to the Conclusion that you just need to look at that thing that you are afraid of and eventually you get used to it..

They do have ears, they're just internal and covered in skin, they dont hear as well as lizards but my snakes have responded to my voice

Aww Guillermo is so cute! Bless his heart ❤ I always feel kinda bad for people who are a slave to their phobias. I can't think of anything that could make me paralyzed with fear. Cockroaches maybe? They give me the heebies but I can't really say that they scare me or I'm terrified of them, no. Honestly I can't imagine being that scared of anything! Humans are _probably_ the closest thing that I could say have the potential of scaring the crap out of me ....

I'm in the same way but with spiders. Had a girlfriend with one though. She had to keep that locked up good or I could not sleep😅 she had it walk on my head and arm once though,I was close to faint but thought if I do I don't have control were it walks so just tried my best to stay calm.
