【STORY】
After the decline of the once robust fields of science and technology, a new energy source known as magic fuels the modern era. Humanity creates forbidden biological weapons: Gears. Those Gears eventually stand against humanity in a rebellion. Although they manage to overcome in the struggle for survival known as the Crusades, humanity’s losses are so great that even after several decades pass, their emotional wounds remain unable to fully heal. Sin Kiske, the child of a human and a Gear, heads to his father Ky and mother Dizzy’s wedding ceremony. Their wedding breaks the ultimate taboo: a union between a human and a Gear. Even with the world at peace, it took many years for such a ceremony to come to fruition. Despite the complex array of emotions surrounding it, the wedding ceremony is met with blessings. When suddenly, a mysterious girl appears… The fated child inheriting Gear blood-and the mysterious girl who despises Gears. Their meeting would shake the world.

Show doesn't drop until next year, but it's not like season 4 of Strive won't extend into spring of next year either. I think it's unlikely, but she'd be in the latter half of the pass if it is the case. Edit: Well, I was right.

@@tronixchl2004 Kinda depends on when exactly the series airs and s4 launches. If s4 comes gets launched in August and the anime in the first half of 2025, I can see them making her a character to promote the show. although adding someone more familiar would be a much safer option

@@BIaziken2i think itd be funny if they did the adventure time smail/jojos yoshikage kira of having one specific character(always the same character) be in the background of every episode and sometimes its easy to spot and sometimes its harder to do so . If the character becomes important later on that serves as foreshadowing and it it doesnt its just a neat easter egg

I hope this series just picks up after the end of the strive main story. It would be super hype to see this series act as a bridge to start teasing the future of the series. Like already the new girl with the goggles and what im guessing is her own new take on junkyard dog looks like she could be a sick ass fighter for GG5 or even a luke type of final dlc down the road for strive as a teaser for the next generation of gg characters. I always thought it would be sick for Sin to get a rival or 2 to become the new core geoup of the series, and especially now that the original Saga of Frederic Aria and Asuka has concluded, it feels like now would be THE time to more towards a proper next generation. Think like Nero and possibly Nico in DMC5, Rock Howard in Fatal Fury/Garou, or Luke and Jamie in SF6

We already have Freddy using his post-story look, and this new girls looks like she will be the Sol to Sin's Ky. So yeah, it does feel like we are moving onto a new generation for the cast and I am all up for it.

While a new generation sounds wonderful, I can't let go of some of the older characters. For example, there's Ky and the mystery of his Dragon Install. I don't want them to shelve him without explaining it first.

@maiselph7456 I mean they wouldn't go away entirely but they would be more in the background as mentor characters and have their big cool moments where they return to help the kids in a pinch. And kys dragon install was already explained. Sin is part gear because of his mom and ky had one of his and sins eyes surgically exchanged so he could use dragon install. Hence why only half ky's face transforms and why sin has the eyepatch. If anything giving sin the spotlight in the story would give us a reason to finally see him get his dragon install

@@eseph9899 except iirc when asked about it in an interview, Daisuke said that Ky's Dragon Install is because of Dizzy specifically. Sin's eye is just a popular theory.

"Her design is cool" might be the biggest Strive apologist copium statement ever. She has literally zero drip. Her design is a monument to how fall Guilty Gear has fallen and how un-Guilty Gear the series has become thanks to Strive.
