The bed is so interesting, it's still unclear if it's Romeo (the original bedman) controlling it or just the programming of the bed doing crazy stuff, my theory is that Romeo is trying to control the bed but struggling with the original program, the program was if Romeo died to seek the strongest opponent and be destroyed, but now that Delilah is around maybe Romeo from the afterlife is trying to make the bed follow her instead

It was thanks to this ending that I got to know that bedmans name is Romeo, and also that Delilah and Romeo are references to Freddie Mercury's cats. Daisuke is a genius!

We STAN Delilah!!! Seriously, her innocence coupled with her deadpan expressions and her simple yet unique features (bolted shoulders, arrow thingy on hair, dark eyebags) make her really stand out. What a great character!

You missed at least 2 outros fyi. Winning against Baiken can also have Delilah say something about getting donuts for dinner, and winning against Chaos can lead to her saying she won't acknowledge him.

3:25 I find it so interesting how these developers use the game medium in cinematics, however briefly. The actual cutscene work for this expansion was questionable but it's weirdly exhilarating watching the characters fight each other using the actual in-game models. There's impact and coordination, taking advantage of the actual movesets and the intense detail put into their animation. It reminds me of old-school fan animations but polished immensely. I would probably be perfectly fine with seeing more of this style of sequence used for the cutscenes in the future, too.

During the in-game cutscenes; the Bedman? When it ceases fighting by Delilah; it has an actual expression of sadness or depression that it was forced to stop or that it made her worried about it. So I think it supports the idea of Bedman/Romeo on the edge of passing on to the great beyond yet his sole task of protecting his sister is far greater than the machine programming that it melds too well with his intention of self-destruction but held back by his need to keep his sister safe that both man's soul & machine willingfully wishes for existence to end yet countered by Delilah's wish to keep it around longer as well as his love for her.

Not only that, but the machine somehow has teeth and another eye hole thing, so I wonder if the bed is as mechanical as we think or it's uh..... it's a living organism refused the gift of death.

She actually has a lot more interactions. I’m actually very surprised with how many she has. She has a few more different ones with Baiken, against Happy Chaos (Even the Overdrive lines change), May, Faust, and more.

So basically bedman, or Romeo i guess programmed it to protect Delilah but once Delilah found home with baiken it no longer needed to be there for her, she was found and safe. And since its job had been done it started its road for self destruction. Did bedman program it to take command from Delilah or is some part of Romeo still in there. So many questions and the answers might just lead more questions. Ughhh. Daisukes lucky i love Bedman/Romeo so much (delilah too but *quite* as much) Bedman is probably one of my favorite characters of all time tbh

I've found this serie just now, I've gotta say something, even tho I know many will be upset, The main story is freacking to hard for me to get, but DAMN if delialah and bedman are such good characters! The whole baiken gang is actualy well WELL written, A story of revenge and accepting, and delialah is just the bow that sells everything
