Here is an idea to have more space in that room: build a cage under the table :) hopefully that helps

I have bunnies that live on the floor of this room so piggies can't be on the floor.

The table tops are melamine wood cut to size. Table legs are from ikea!

Have you ever had your guinea pig cages on the floor? if so, is having them on tables a lot easier? i’m thinking about putting mine on tables but am wondering if there are any cons to doing it that way. I love your videos!!

I lasted about 2 weeks with a cage on the floor when I first got my pigs 6 years ago lol I find it much easier to clean and interact with the pigs when they're on a stand or tables. It hurts my knees and back to do things on the floor like that. Plus you're not constantly hovering over them so they are sometimes a bit less skittish.

i know i’m super late but i was wondering if you had a recommendation for what to do as a ‘lid’/top for a c and c cage! i have guinea pigs (their current cage is the midwest and has a lid) but i have cats and one of them is really ornery and i know he’d climb in! my piggies can hold their own, but i of course don’t want to stress them, so do you have ideas? would i just do more c and c grids? (i’m not able to put them on a table, the grids will have to be on the floor)

A lot of people make lids out of grids and zip tie them on so they can be lifted without popping everything out of connectors. Guinea pig cages store website has lid kits too!
