Hi. I've made several review videos of guitar books so please check out the ones on books which don't specialise on one area (i.e picking / arpeggios Jazz theory etc). You'd be better off with one like this one which covers a lot of the basics - but a good teacher is always going to be the best (but not cheapest) option.

Does guitar for dummies teach basic sheet music and if it doesn’t what is a book you would recommend that teaches different techniques and sheet music
