the trick I learn is pulling the index finger away while play C or Em And that's really making my practice different and I am enjoying making something new from the C major. Thank you so much Brian!!

So...Csus2 with the third added and your F chord is actually a Fmaj7 with the open e string but that's cool too.

Quick question: why do not all people play the F chord the way you've shown us? I've seen it this way before, but how do I know which to use (this way compared to a barre chord)? Many thanks!! :)

His version of G is by far the toughest. Don't go by it. "G" is one of the easiest chords. Your Index finger comes to the place shown as 2(see the diagram in the video at 4:37) you middle finger comes at 3 and the ring finger at 4. the little finger remains free. This is a good way to begin with.

You're right, its good to start with your index on the A string to get the hang of it but, if you want to pull off playing g shape barre chords you will need free up your index for the barre.

Easy chords usually sound the most basic and uninteresting. This is a perfect example. Put in the practice and do something cool

I think its better to start off with the difficult stuff so you can blow through easy chords with no problem

Your'e using these Keys on the tune voice of the song leader it really helps a lot when your vocalist is in the key of D "Tune Voice" so instead of using key of G you can use key of D on him/her so he can sing his key voice.
