Part etude breakdown, part TED talk, today's Guitar Alchemy lesson focuses on accessing speed on guitar, avoiding repetition overload, and ditching any wasted guitar practice approaches when it comes to achieving speed. There are lots of ways to practice - and I enjoy checking them all out - but I do think when it comes to technique mastery, many of us get stuck in slow rep mode without making the "trial by fire" a regular part of the process.
