If being fair, Rock Band 4 also did a comeback around that time and did something every RB/GH fan wanted, but still failed spectacularly anyway. I think that proves that rhythm games with chunky peripherals are just a thing of the past at this point, for better or worse.

@@pipistrele4414 Rock Band 4 actually did "Ok" for what it was, a small budget title. Rock Band 4 CUT features from Rock Band 3 and tried to sell the guitar bundle for $149.99 and the band for 249.99. The instrument quality was god-awful, Xbox required to buy an adapter to use old instruments. GH-Live requiring a new guitar when people still had their old ones were stupid. If they would've made it subscription-based F2P for people who owned the guitars, they would've made ALOT more money. The people that did buy the game couldn't even permanently buy the songs, so they are stuck with a game now with no songs.

Anyone shit talking the difficulty probably has not played this game with that guitar. It’s harder than it looks. The gameplay loop in the game wasn’t the worst thing, it was the multiplayer and the licensing issue with the music videos on GHTV. It sucks the game is offline. Very nice work. I don’t think I was able to FC this song while I had the chance to play.

You know what they shoulda done? Made an adapter that made PS2 and PS3 guitars work on PS4, then make a PS VR version of the game where you could actually move around the stage and interact with the band and the crowd and shit. Guitar Hero Live had the right idea, it was just a little too early. (You could argue that it also tried to fix something that wasn't broken, with the 3x2 frets instead of 5 frets.)

The idea isn't bad, actually is pretty fun on higher difficulty, the game had the same problems most reboots/remakes had around the time (lame and bland design with poor corporative choices). RockBand did the exact same thing you just described and nobody cares about it, Rockband VR is horrible lol.

If you haven’t played this game don’t take jabs at it doesn’t look hard. That guitar had extra button and combo pressing between the top and bottom button. Everything else about this game I don’t care what you have to say but this shit was hard

Ya veo lo que hicieron: Cambiaron la guitarra para que las posiciones con la mano izquierda se asemejen más a las posiciones que hace un guitarrista cuando toca. Fijaros en el chico: Da la sensación de que los punteos son más reales al jugar con esa "verticalidad" e incluso también se ponen acordes, es más, creo que se asemeja bastante (toco la guitarra, pero no me sé esta canción asique corregidme) a como se toca el tema en la realidad. Lo que no entiendo es esa vagancia de poner el videoclip en lugar de modelar personajes como hicieron con los otros juegos.

I know it seems like an idea that wouldn't work, but I know how to make the OG Guitar Hero relevant again: Movie adaptation. Synopsis: Guitar Heroes are protectors of rock genres, and a select chosen have their fates intertwined in a prophecy set in motion by the God of Rock to prevent Hell from rising onto Earth and Lou (main antagonist) taking control of all music. Only one with little experience must find it in herself (Judy Nails; main protagonist) to alternate genres and become the chosen Guitar Hero.

@@angelfaz8269 esas cosas por lo general pasan, a muchos nos queda más gustando los de antes, pero si hay muchos que también hasta llegan a preferir este último por la sensación de tocar en vivo y los controles que simulan un poco mejor los acordes. La verdad también me gustan más los de antes y en cada escenario te daban sorpresas tremendas y te era tremendo tocar buenos temas en esos escenarios. pero también pienso que las opiniones varian. A nosotros nos gustan más los de antes pero el juego se vende igual y mucha gente como en este video lo juegan y hasta les gusta mucho. Lamentablemente con los cambios a veces uno prefiere lo de antes pero gracias a lo que hicieron sacaron un juego diferente a los que habian hecho hasta ahora y la saga sigue teniendo relevancia nos guste o no el cambio..

This was actually a pretty good game, better than old games for me, I'm talking about GHTV (online mode, singleplayer just have a lack of songs), but people just didn't accept the change, many of them didn't even played the game once, just hating because... well, they just wanted to hate. And I played every GH game...
