@@ivy23173 You never saw Dylan live playing guitar and harmonica at the same time? The harmonica line she used at the ACM's sounded just like ol' Bob. He started out in Canada as a folk singer.

There's nothing pop about Folklore and Evermore. Literally nothing, not even the structure of the songs. Those are indie/folk albums, with a bit of country and alternative rock.

I'm a swiftie and didn't know who joe alwyn was. And honestly I've only seen him in 2 movies which i only watched for taylor. If she didn't date him, he wouldn't be on my radar.

I can assure you swifties don't spend their time talking about her exes. It is literally the general public that does. We got here through the music, not the gossip, unlike the people who know her primarily as a celebrity.

It is part of a tour video filmed in the Olympic Stadium in Sydney Australia; Apple Music filmed it and had it as an exclusive on their site; but just after Lover was released and she got into the argument with Big Machine over what she was allowed to sing at the AMA's that year, Apple took it down. It seems to be on KZfaq, for now, anyway. There is a lot of behind the scenes stuff, especially about guest artists who appeared at various times in other cities. But to see the video, you used to have to be subscribed to Apple Music.

I just wanted to say I'm enjoying your reactions to Taylor's music, too, and also your general attitude of low-key good humor & thoughtfulness. Really nice to see someone approaching music that's not their usual type of thing with such open-mindedness and positivity. I'd like to second this commenter's recommendation -- I think there are some really interesting covers of her songs out there that would give you a chance to talk about how different musicians can approach the same work, and also consider how Swift's songwriting/composition holds up outside of her own performances. Joe is just two years younger; atm, he's 29 and she's 31. Not quite like the age difference as between her and Mayer (12 years) or Gyllenhaal (9 years) or Harris ((~6 years older). Then there are the other younger boys: Styles (- 4 years), Lautner (-2 years), Kennedy (-5 years). I think the only time she was with someone exactly her age was Joe Jonas? which lasted about as long as many high-school-age romances. I had to look up the ages, bc all of it is irrelevant after the fact. Taylor excels at describing and parsing out emotional nuances. Her later songs are probably about how more than one ex made her feel. I find it interesting to look back at reputation now, knowing about the tension between her and Borchetta, and her reasons for leaving Big Machine. With her, there are always Easter Eggs; except, when it is just fence holes, lol

@@robertthompson7242 yeahhh! i didnt mean the age gap though i understand what you meant. all these men linked to her were honestly known faces, either because of a few years in the industry or teenage heartthrobs. jonas- camp rock styles- 1 D lautner- twilight kennedy (not as popular but had surname advantage). joe maybe just 2 years younger to swift- but he hasnt been in as many projects or been so big that he would be recognized outright. does not mean he isnt talented or his fame relies upon her- but he is known due her mega stardom

@@shalakaj523 He attended school in London. Graduated at 25, and has been working non-stop since. 10 films, a mini-series, and an upcoming television movie adaptation of a novel scheduled for 2022. All of Taylor's previous romantic interests (aside from Kennedy) were in the performing arts--either singers, producers, or actors. And, she is very interested in acting. ( Kid brother Austin Swift is an actor and now a film director.) As far as a measure of fame, they work in different fields. There really isn't anyone alive who is "as famous" as Swift for the last 10 years or so.

Tay has been here since she was 15- a huge career spanning 15 years now. giving me information on joe alwyn does not make him famous. let her music- "which ex is this about" be open to interpretation and even more so- to fit a listener's own mindset and personal spaces.

Point is, I don't think fame as such matters to her; it is only the stans that keep score that way. And, her experience with a such different people infuses her music, because experiences make you who you are. But my opinions don't matter anyway, I am just glad they are happy; and I am happy with the music.
