I’m impressed with Nestor, he was born in one of the poorest parts of Mexico, and people like him are discriminated against at any city they go, but he’s different to the people he belong to, very outspoken and not shy. He has a great talent.

@@libbydavis5414 No .. Reality is reality. Work in tourist business where humans only seem to enjoy their lives on vacation. However live serving tourists is still a grind. You still have to pay your bills. Trust me I live on vacation bwahahahhahah .... So much weird nieve thinking out there. I live in Puerto Viejo de Limon Costa Rica ... it's not all Pura Vida .. however when you pay the tourist prices to the locals everyone is sweet to you. The tequila business is surely trending. It's all about the money after all and where ever you can afford to live you do.

I just want to go home. 😞 31 years ago I moved from my home in Maryland to Texas, accompanying my husband who was in the USAF at the time. Never thought it was a permanent move. Several things influenced our decision to stay after he retired from the USAF (won't bore you) and so, here I still am. The older I get, the more my heart aches for my hometown, my familiarity with everything there, my family & friends that I miss so much, etc. I'm closing in on 70 years old - it's a no brainer I'm never going home (week long visits here & there don't count). The only consolation I have is I made my daughters promise me, after I'm gone they would send my ashes back home so someone could sprinkle me there. ❤😢

This was one of Reggies best videos. The MAGIC OF CABO. Nice job Mike and wonderful success story. Lots of talent there. Have been lucky to visit Cabo 2 times and enjoyed it tremendously. My “magic music” was the sound of a fishing reel with a big striped marlin, tuna or wahoo on the end of the trolling rod.

I came to Mexico 35 years ago and do not regret it. I divorced my blood family and chose my wife's family as my own. A few days ago, one of my wife's friends died in Houston, Texas, and my wife didn't have time to go to the USA before she passed, to see her one final time. The funeral was today. So... last night, my wife pulled out my 12 string guitar, that 20 years ago, I used it to play a 5 country solo guitar tour in Europe. She asked me to practice my song "Looking for a Change" that I wrote in 2002. I hadn't played in many years because an unjustified attack on me by extremely evil people 13 years ago caused me to lose my joy of life and i put down all my instruments, guitars, fiddle, piano, drums, bass, mandolin... ALL OF IT. I was destroyed. I had no calluses on my fingertips and i could only practice the song through three times. We recorded it for today's funeral, and sent them my latest upload from 2 hours ago. My fingers HURT. No practice in years, and being asked to do a low quality rendition of my own song OFF THE CUFF... But anyways... there it is. No vocal sing practice either. Im recovering from an illness that almost took mynlife a month ago. I spent 58 days in bed. I almost left this earth. But my wife wanted this.

I love the song Tennessee Whiskey and this is one of the best renditions I've heard!!! To top it off, the harmonies were spot on, the tempo was perfect, and the fireworks in the background were awesome as well!!!
