Have you tried taking real lessons from a real teacher? Not youtube. Not just any teacher you'll have to do research.The right teacher will ask you your goals, and proceed to get you to them. Like "smoother". So part of that is having your fingers in the right place at the right time, synchronizing left and right. The right teacher and your committment worth more than gold. So the 25 bucks a week is easy to part with...should be.

@Noartist There's no doubt youtube can help. But youtube doesn't spot errors, or adjust to your rising/lowering skill set. The right teacher can spot problems and suggestions. I am MOSTLY self taught. But early on I took a few lessons from a real world class guitar player. And I mean REAL lessons...not "how to play song X". I retained about 10% of what he gave me but became about 10 times the guitar player...in just a few lessons. Even to this day his lessons ring through me. Not just ANY teacher...the right one.

Buxton and bruce always that right combination of lead. Never an overkill. Thats what made their riffs iconic.
@markdowns21325 жыл бұрын
I saw Alice Cooper (when it was the band's name) in the '70s. The band was with Fo & Eddie at the Baltimore Civic Center. They pretty much played all of Billion Dollar Babies, Schools Out (the song only) and a few from Killer & Love It to Death. The old AC band was incredible not only for the music but their stage show. Micheal Bruce was an animal on the stage. Dennis Dunaway also did a great Billion Dollar Baby bass riff. I can admit that those days are gone (RIP Glenn Buxton). But Alice (now the person) continues to put on a great show. I've read that he always employs a "Hot Chick that can Shred". There is no denying that Nita is Hot. She also can shred, but she is also humble (not stuck up as far as I can tell) and willing to help others out. She does not deserve hate! If you prefer Glenn Buxton, fine but she is doing her best to fill in and doing a darn good job.

tkzsfen you must not have seen a lot of guitars, because the inlays are not original there are plenty of guitars with those inlays! I saw Kirk Hammett from metellica with those inlays on his guitar 10 yrs ago! If you don't know what you are talking about you shouldn't make dumbass comments!

I dig Nita and am constantly showing her to my daughter. I grew up on Cooper and for me the I'm Eighteen solo is what I consider to be an iconic solo. It is cool that she is allowed to play her solo, but when it comes down to it, I would rather hear the original.
@carlosbanales58164 ай бұрын
her solo had no freaking soul! I get it she's a great player but to me she has always been too flashy for the Alice songs. Look at what Keri Kelli, Damon Johnson and Ryan Roxie did with their version of Eighteen solo, it had balls but respected the essence of the song. Anyways, that's just my opinion. I understand that Nita gets a lot of love.

Nita, I think your performance is extremely good. Just a quick couple of questions: 1.)Are you self taught ? 2.)how long have you been playing ? 3.) do you do this for a living ? I believe if someone, like me, were to listen to how and what your explaining. I believe it would open doors for me. Thank you for taking time out to explain in detail. I'm going to subscribe to you. Keep doing what your doing.

I am an original Alice Cooper group fan from the 70s. Alice Cooper group was not metal in the 70s but hard rock. Listen to the original version of 18 and you will see what I mean it even has a harmonica in the opening. Not to say that this version isn’t valid but when she talks about less is more I agree with that more is not necessarily more
