That’s the right way to make it. Always make in traditional ways. just use traditional cold pressed oil. 😊

For instant consumption, no need to add oil while preparing the dough. Use water. Just roll the dough piece into a flat circle, and roast it on the hot tawaa. Spread some oil over the top surface when the flattened dough starts to show small balloons of steam. Flip the flattened dough and spread some oil over the surface. Flip it. The entire flattened dough will puff up with lot of steam inside it. Flip it again, if required. Done. That's how I make methi paraathaa.
