I always hate coming back north, especially from somewhere with blue water, palm trees, and WARMTH! It's so depressing, I can't bear to go on vacation again, HAHAHA! Your truck looks like you tried to get into my shop via the driveway! It's a mud bog out there - we've had so many freeze-thaw cycles. It's a disaster. I took a 2-wheeler and a trash can, and made 30 trips back and forth with quarter stone left over from the new shop's foundation, so my wife won't sink the now 27 year old 940 to the rocker panels, LOL. As I type, the ice storm is just starting. Can see the flakes coming down in front of the barn light. Wish I was in the Keys right now!! Weather people can't say for sure what's going to happen ... but I have the charger on the generator right now! Great flight - thanks for sharing, guys! Love watching the ground go by so fast from so far away. On my way home today, I got pulled over by the cops, since my inspection sticker is 2 years expired ... because my POS '07 Silverado (garaged since day 1) with less than 100k miles won't run a couple OBD-II monitors (It's like clearing the codes, or disconnecting the battery, and immediately going to try and get an inspection) no matter how many miles I drive it. That got me thinking ... I need to come up with a way to fly anywhere I need to go, LOL! If I could invent something to launch vertically like helicopter, then resume normal fixed-wing flight, I'd be set! I know it's been tried before ... but there has to be a better way. Driving up here SUCKS! 😂 Don't mind me - dreaming and rambling again. You and Jamie have a Happy, Healthy, Prosperous, and Safe New Year! Blue skies, tailwinds, and ZERO turbulence for 2020!! 😁🍻

The final approach path to Marathon air field was right over our motel. Such fun. Hope you all enjoyed your trip. We went to the Southern most point in Key West too. Sun rise in Miami beach and sunset in Key West. Come to Napa Kevin.

A bumpy taxiway is a perfectly acceptable substitute for mild turbulence. I get nostalgic when I see Galena Blvd, Prestbury (and the golf course), IL-56 and IL-47 on your return. 21 years of memories.
