This is my in-depth review of the Casio Gulfman GW9110 digital watch. Near the beginning of the video I also show the lower-priced alternative, the GW7900. Both have the same functions but the case and colors are different. They also differ in that The Gulfman's backlight button is a multifunction button while the GW7900 has an additional button just for the light. Recently, both models have been available at Sam's Club in my area, and the prices at Sam's Club were attractive, although the price of the GW9100 can be considerably higher. The Gulfman has some higher-priced components, including the case back made of titanium.
Each watch offers the standard toughness associated with G-Shock watches, including 20 Bar water resistance. They also have Casio's Tough Solar power source so, with common usage, this will go for many, many years without any need to change its battery. They also have Multiband 6 atomic time reception to keep themselves set to the right time (down to the second!). But if atomic time reception is not available they will still run as regular quartz watches, accurate to within 15 seconds per month.
Other features include 5 daily alarms (one of which is a "snooze" alarm), an hourly "chime" signal, a 24-hour stopwatch and a 24-hour countdown timer. These watches also display tide readings and the phase of the moon. They have backlights which can be activated automatically with the turn of the wrist of the person wearing the watch.
The Gulfman GW9110 in this video uses Casio's 3217 module. That module is available in some other watches, allowing for color variations to suit the user's preferences.
