I went there in 1st week of december and was disappointed with gulmarg as no snowfall even at the phase 2 gondola. We find snow in Sonmarg and @Chandanwari in pahalgam. I will definitely go in jan -feb in future.

Mid March most probably you will get snow all over Gulmarg. But please do your due diligence before you leave. Usually Jan to March is the time you can witness snow covered Gulmarg. Both phase 1 n phase 2.

This is an old video. I was also in Gulmarg on 26th December and in Sonamarg on 27th December. There was no snow on the roads. Snowfall mostly occurs in January, but this was the first time in the last few years (10-20 years) that it did not show up in the december as told by the local people. But Gulmarg and Sonmarg are very beautiful places. Every one must to at once.

Snowfall has been really unpredictable these days but I I think Feb can be a good month. You are most likely to witness snow in Feb and March. Please ask locals n read news n do research before planning a trip. A lot of tourists got disappointed in Jan because they could not see snow.

I think the hotel was Gulmarg Sahara hotel. It’s close to the main market area. The hotel is average but the food decent n the views are great too. At that time we could not find any hotel. Thats the only hotel that we could find and that too with a local Kashmiri friends help. 😁

Depends on what kind of shoes you’re wearing. I wore my normal trekking shoes they worked okay as they give pretty decent grip. Shoes will decent grip will work okay. What activities you are planning to do ?

I am currently in Gulmarg and I cannot see such snow over here and you have just uploaded this video two days back. Try to understand you are sending so many information to people showing that how current places been looking and this is far more different.

Firstly, this video is two years old. No where have I ever mentioned that it’s snowing in Kashmir so please go n see. This is just to inform and show you how Gulmarg looks in winter. Snow cannot be predicted realtime. Every year snow time is different. This video was shot in the first week of Jan in 2021. Please use your discretion before you plan the trip. This video is not at all about how when you should be planning the trip. Every year snowfall time changes by a couple of weeks. You may need to wait for the first or second week of Jan to witness the snow. “May” okay!! It’s not like I created the snow myself and made a video out of it. The snow you see is real n it all happened for real. Please do your research. Thanks anyway so I can tell people in the next video that need to research before going.

"We went in December & January" is misleading as you have uploaded in 2023. People will think as it of now only. Make it clear in description it's 2021 not to mislead. I know it's your video & you can do anything. But as a disclaimer u can give the year specifically as you know this year being the worst to witness snow. So be an responsible youtuber
