and here is the shayari : बड़ी लम्बी थी ये परवाज़* अबके सुनी जय हिन्द की आवाज़ अबके मैं चंद्रायन* तीन हूँ चन्दा वो जिसके गिर्द घुमा करते हो तुम उसी नीली ज़मीन का बंदा बड़ी लम्बी थी ये परवाज़ मेरी पड़ी कानो में अब आवाज़ मेरी मैं क्यों आया हूँ इतनी दूर से क्या ग़म है अरे यही से हो, ज़मी के हो, ये क्या कम है पुरानी बात है जब तुम ज़मी से टूटे थे कोई विस्फोट था जब हाथ अपने छूटे थे समझना चाहता हूँ कब हुआ आगाज़ अबके बड़ी लम्बी थी परवाज़ अबके हमारी मिट्टी की शायद कोई पहचान निकले कहीं सूखा हुआ पानी या रेगिस्तान निकले तुम्हारी सांस चलती है कोई ऐसा निशाँ निकले वहाँ ऑक्सीजन थी पहले अगर इम्कान* निकले सुनो सोलह कलाओं का बता दो राज़ अबके बड़ी लम्बी थी ये परवाज़ अबके किसी ने राहु केतु वाला किस्सा भी सुनाया हमारी लोरियों में भी तुम्हारा ज़िक्र आया और बहुत से शायरों ने भी तुम्हे अक्सर सताया हमारे आसमां पे आके जब बिंदी लगाते हो ज़मीं के आशिकों को रात भर तुम क्यों जगाते हो कहा था माँ ने तुम चंदामामा हो मुझे लगता है एक हंगामा हो जब भी पूरा उजाला करते हो तुम समंदर भी उबाला करते हो तुम ज़मीं फिर भी उठा लेगी तुम्हारे नाज़ अबके बड़ी लम्बी थी ये परवाज़ अबके -गुलज़ार साब परवाज़ = उड़ान चंद्रायन = चंद्रयान इम्कान = संभावना
