During the Spring Event on Weeze Airport, I have filmed this amazing grey Chevrolet Corvette C7 Z06 Convertible. You can see this Z06 warming up the tyres and racing against other supercars! Under the hood you will find a Supercharged 6.2L aluminum V8 producing 659HP!

The R8 has all wheel drive. It's going to beat a rear drive car every time with similar HP. No spin on take off. Pure traction.Even if the R8 hadn't cheated...lol

I'd like to know if the z06 was a 7 speed standard or that 8 speed auto with paddle shift,I have read that the Auto is slow shifting not as fast as 7 speed standard.

yes, correct but only when the top is down. and those rear wicker spoiler slows it down too, alot of them are removed for racing other than a track

Do they add 9 HP to z06s in Europe, because a z06 in the US only has 650

In short, no they do not, because it's simply measured in different units (metric) in Europe. The difference is very slight, about 1.387% between mechanical (aka imperial) and metric horsepower because of the way it's defined (550 ft-lb vs 75 kgf-m p/s). When converted to watts, 1 metric horsepower would equivalent to 736 watts while 1 mechanical horsepower equivalents to 746 watts. To convert mechanical horsepower, simply multiply by 1.014.

Jay Dontknowbetter actually that is true with any vehicle. And yes you have a point. I would buy a new z06 just to make sure it's actually new and has a warranty that comes with it from factory.

So you do it to your brand new car and you are in the same place. But you just spent at least $10K more...I'm looking at a 2019 Z06 Convertible with 3000 miles on it. Still has factory warranty on it. And it's about $20k less than sticker. For $4K I can get it certified by GM to 6 yrs/100,000 miles. Let it blow...I'm covered.
