Just imagine how many drugdealers,criminals and drunk people that takes the oppurtunity to sneak by when Cops just focus on "rich people with fancy cars". For sure, they miss lots of other vehicles that would draw attention a normal day.

Wow! Look at 5:00 the French police man that stopped David Hasslehoff seemed very happy to meet him(had a big smile) & seems like he asked for his autograph on the notepad :)! I don't dislike the French police for stopping them because if you notice on the video... They let them go in a matter of minutes, and probably just making sure they have insurance while in france(since coming from abroad). I think there is nothing wrong to check & make sure their cars paperwork is in order. I didn't see anyone in the video being hauled away or have their car taken. I applaud them for simply ensuring safety... They can't control what happens after they leave, but if one of them should crash while speeding & harm another motorist or their family? Then they have to be legally liable! I understand that most likely they are rich, and can easily afford it... To make sure? That doesn't hurt at all & none of the officers were bad to the drivers from what I saw. Seeing it from a public servant's point of view? Makes sense to do this check... I think that the Gumball 3000 is a great way to raise money for the youth, and recreation areas for them! I give them props since raising money for a good cause! Idk if anyone saw the SHMEE150 video? He never got a ticket during his whole gumball 3000 trip despite being stopped like this in several occasions! I wish them luck on next years Gumball 3000 :)!

le cout pour participer au gunball coute genre 100 000e et on a vu que certains pays escortent les autos, et ou bloquent des rues, ça devrait se faire en partenariat des autorités pour que les organisateurs payent meme un partie des couts de la police si besoin. Mais faut pas oublier que ce rally fait rentrer bcp d'argent aussi dans le pays avec hotel de luxe et le monde qui suit le rally, on voyait plein détapes ou y a des milliers de spectateur. Ca devrait pouvoir se faire en partenariat et au final arranger tout le monde.
