8 initially wrote Gumball off as another crappy Cartoon Network show when I first saw it. Last year I started watching it on a random whim and fell in love with the witty writing, the breakneck pace of the jokes, and the characters in general.

Crazy part is I’m a 40 year old man and I watch this show with my kids and I’ll tell you, this show barely has context in the first place, that being said, this show is so bizarre and weird but pretty damn funny

I think this show was originally supposed to be on adult swim it would've been mostly the same just the characters would swear adult swim turned it down so the creator put it on cartoon network it explains a lot imo
