Hits very different for me, cuz this song has history between me snd my boyfriend. We were banned from talking to each other, and we were best friends for years before that. I had one last call with him where we said goodbye, and i sent him slow dancing in the dark, telling him to think of me when he listens to it. That it'll be a reminder of how I'll still care for him from a distance. Years later, he reached out to me and we started talking again. We both missed each other so badly, and if im being honest, we both decided to keep going because neither of us wanted to have the other find out we were dead one day. Two years after ee reconnected, we started dating and its been the best experience i could have asked for. If he watches this video, i hope he knows i still think of him every time i hear this song, even though we have each other now. It's no longer a song of pain to me, now it feels like a part of our history, of our love story.

Dude, i just came after listening to your version of Like You Do and im completely in awe. Both of these songs were heavenly and blissful that theyve made goosebumps rise, sent chills down my spine, and made me shed a few tears all because of how beautiful they were to listen to. And not only was it amazing to listen to, but the visuals just top it all off like your favorite toppings on a big fat scoop of ice cream. This played right after this version of like you do and it honest to god had me in tears. Both songs encapsulate periods of profound loneliness and some of the saddest experiences of my life, but when the beat picked up in this one I thought of the positives of both periods, the growth and friends that came with that. It was overwhelming. Thank you for a beautiful life changing experience.
