My parents showed me this it used to be my dads favorite show in fact we saved my fathers Gumby and Pokey figurines I am currently 15 and I am so glad that I can have memories of this show in remembrance of my dad 🥺 (Edit: I was only 4 1/2 when my dad died.. but thank you for your love!! 🩷🩷)

@@glockz4940We were much more naïve back then. Walked to and from school twice a day (coming home for lunch, because most of our Moms were homemakers). Played outside most of the time, until the street lights came on! (No supervision 😳). Very few tv channels (we didn’t even have color tv till I was 11). Read a lot, in summer the public library was my hangout because it was air conditioned. In high school I joined all the clubs, school musical. Spent tons of time talking on the phone with my friends, despite having a “party line” phone 📞 (shared with another household; if we heard them pick up to check if the line was free, we’d have to get off the line asap so the other customers wouldn’t complain to the phone company that we were hogging the line 😂😂😂). Good times. Innocent times, I think.

Ah yes, the good old days when all I had to worry about was Saturday morning cartoons. Gumby and Pokey both are proudly displayed on my China press. The grandkids love playing with them. Now all I need is to get a major Matt Mason astronaut.

I wasn't a big fan of gumbhy but I watched it when nothing was on. Lots of memories. I was more of a thundercats, silver hawk, Aladin, ninja turtle guy.

Yes, I also watched all these cartoons.can u tell me the movie name which played on N.T.M channel the story of the movie based on the butterfly catcher boy.who fell in love with a girl and he kidnapped her.but she never loved him and die in the end.

The full baking episode was called "In the Dough" and literally was the first audio visual that terrified me as a little kid. A pie shell attacked Pokey and dough consumed Gumby and got baked into a "Pokey Pie" and a "Gumby" cookie.....I still loved the show in spite of that episode!!!🌵🐴
