Roommate was the show where I discovered Lee Dong-wook. There were others from that show that I still follow. I watch dramas according to the players, if Dong-wook is in something I will watch and if it's badly written I probably will not finish it. That goes for any actor, male or female. Mr. Lee needs to know that he is good at his craft and it's a matter of choice of material and timing. I will mention an actor that has been around for years and slowly took roles that changed our perspective of him and that is NamKoong Min. He has played the second lead for years. He started with being the good guy, then played villains, has done comedy, played silly inept, buffoons and the out of nowhere, he buffed himself out and became an action hero. Now he has this fantastic new drama, "My Dearest". This is what Mr. Lee needs, a new outlook. He can afford now to choose and pick roles that will move him forward. Don't let them type cast you. As for his love life, I don't have any real answers except to think outside the box, don't be so rigid. It's about give and take. As for house cleaning, any man that wants to do that he can have it, but I need to do the cooking or at least we can share in that. Many men have married later in life, if anything that is when people are most vulnerable. Love will find you. Think of someone not in you line of work. Only one self-centered individual allowed in a household 😂just kidding. Good luck☘

That's a valid concern though. I personally know a few people who married at a point in their lives where they were already so set in their ways and, even if it may seem ridiculous, it ended up being a core reason for why that relationship ended. If you want to find your 'soulmate' you must surround yourself with that environment, I think he needs to open himself to things outside of work.

I comprehend what he's saying. Even though he's successful and has done well, he hasn't had that Ah Ha! moment as of yet in his career of acting. No matter how good his company or fans tell him that he is, in his mind and soul that one project that will move him, he hasn't accomplished that yet. I get what he is saying about living alone. I think we get less tolerant of other people’s bad habits the older we get, and it’s easier getting used to be selfish with your time, especially if you have a busy job. Plus, so much of the drive for companionship is hormonal when you’re younger, and it is does drop off when you are older. Unless he actually wants children of his own, he probably won’t miss out on companionship when he wants it. He will be desirable because of his fame at any age, so he has no time limit. But he’ll have to be willing to sacrifice some of his precious alone time, and that gets more and more difficult. I have at least four friends who have always been single, as I also am, and it really is a great way to live when you have a fulfilling job, money to support yourself, and good friends. The worst part is being looked down on by others as if there’s something wrong with being older and single. But in my experience, it’s great being able to go where you want when you want. And if you want to go on a trip or have a meal with somebody, you just call up a friend. If you are any kind of artist, having personal freedom, and the ability to set a schedule so you can work creatively, in is the most important thing in the world. I don’t feel bad for him at all. I actually admire what he is doing with his life, and that he is setting his own path without social pressure. More power to him!

I feel like he suffers from depression! I see this condition in a lot of Korean celebrities and I think it happens because of too much press, stress and demands that they experience from early childhood, and also due to poverty which is very common there. Children are very often separated from their parents who struggle to survive, they must work too hard to gain a success and are worrying about family problems from an early age. I can see that suffering from depression is a tabu as well and even rich people can't find appropriate help with their problems. I really think this nation must have suffered a lot and isn't in good condition now. The American capitalistic system adopted to such a demanding society pushed too many people into suffering more that is morally acceptable. Children should never suffer from starvation nor such a pressure and they always have the right to free medical care. European system would be much more efficient than for this people, what I wish them from all my heart ❤ Find help and belive you are Love and Light, than you find your way.

As a Korean born but having lived in US since 12 am beyond grateful for not having to have grown up with the crippling expectations kids have there. Unrealistic studying, narrow job markets and those who venture into creative fields live under insane expectations by the public to a point of risking one’s career if seen dating. Unless from an uber privileged background one can’t afford to buy an apt, spend the $$ needed to raise kids in SK.
