After the depressing time that was Iron Blooded Orphans, I don't mind a moe time with Gundam. I would kill to get the box sets if they came with figures. That'd be soooooo cool. So cool.

I just realized this is a first Build series for many fans who do not realize it’s meant to be derivative of the Gundam/Gunpla fandom and not a deep political war plot.

Honestly, I can point out so many things wrong with this series, BUT at the same time, I enjoy this show so much it makes me feel guilty lol Even if it's not a show meant for the normal Gundam fans, it's still not a hot mess like I expected it to be. This is pretty similar to cases like Teen Titans Go and Ben 10 Omniverse, but the fan base is a lot more appreciative lol (thank god)

08th MS team's RX-78[G]'s are exactly GM's with Gundam heads, no plot armor or anything of the sort, in fact, the "upgraded" suit that the MC gets at the end is actually a kit bash of multiple models into a single unit, which still has the same or similar specs.

@@animedude8712 the rest of the build series was not dubbed by any US studios. the brilliant minds of right stuff thought it was a good idea to plaster build fighters and build fighters try with the hong kong english dub from animax asia which are ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS! best to wait until they finally come to their senses and use a proper one!

This opening really grew on me to where the second just doesn't stand up, imo. This, Fighters and Try are solid watches for people who'd like some fights without politics, depression, death, etc. IBO had enough of it, for sure. Also Magee is best.

See this series "KNOWS" it isn't suppose to take Itself seriously. Even the fricken intro practically screams upbeat, have fun with it, while you chill with your friends. All while gunpla with ridiculously long backstories kick the scrap plastic/metal?, out of each other for the viewers' twisted enjoyment all while we eat popcorn and laugh! XD
