Gundam: Live Action Adaptation Is Based On The Mobile Suit Gundam Anime Series.
Finally, Legendry Studios is on the making of “Live-Action Gundam” Film, long ago in 2021 Netflix officially announced that they are working on Mobile suit Gundam Live Action version with legendary studios, and they also revealed the concept art of Live action version Gundam, but after that new, we got nothing about the project.
But recently, there is a leak coming directly from legendary studios, that, they already started the pre-production of the movie, and the story and scripting is over. now, they will be looking for the cast. as we already know Jordan Vogt-Roberts will direct the movie, who also directed “Kong: the skull island”.
Netflix will stream the film worldwide, though production company Legendary Pictures will instead release the film theatrically in China. Seeing the situation, the movie is in its early stage, but they can drop teaser soon cause its fully VFX based movie. but we have to wait till 2023 0r 2024 to see the whole movie.

I do and dont. Mainly because Hathaway is pretty far in the future as far as the UC goes so its able to retcon alot with basic physics. Im all for making it as realistic as possible but at the same time MSG is great because its still "fantasy" just my two cents.

Yes, my fav of the Gundam animes and 1rst ever mecha anime I've watched when I was young. I loved it a lot. Plus G. WIng is one the most beautiful one till' this day (even compared to flashy ridiculous one paint in pink... erh, whatever...) Endless Waltz version YES PLZ !!!

@@DS-lk3tx Gundam Wing was amazing and my entrance to Gundam, but it would be a mistake to think the rest of the series is for kids. Victory should be rated RRR. Zeta is more adult than most R rated television and the original mobile suit Gundam starts with the MC shooting a hole in the space station inadvertently that results in his dad being sucked out into space temporarily and getting brain damage due to Oxygen deprivation. Most war epics aren’t as dark as the original Gundam series (ZZ excluded) through Char’s Counterattack. And sure there’s some recent series that are more kid friendly than Wing was (particularly any SD Gundam) and the current series isn’t the favorite of some long term fans, but I advise you to give it a chance, Witch From Mercury is scary dark if you get past the tip of the iceberg. Wing will always be my favorite, and Endless Duel to me is the best SNES game never to release in the US, but to Japanese fans it doesn’t crack the top 10. Call them nostalgic but they have a legitimate argument that there are some OG series on par or that surpass it (they viewed it as a bishonen or show full of pretty boys meant to attract female fans, which I think is unfair because the show is vicious and just beautiful overall from the mech designs and animation to the music and plot).

Yeah, I hate to say this but I think Gundam is the one Anime that could be brought to live action and actually work. Nothing about the property lends to the medium of animation other than the awesome Gundam battles. And let's face it, that would look awesome on the big screen with a 250 million budget.

As a Gundam fan since Wing first aired in the states and I was a child. Fuck no I don't want a live action Gundam series this was tried already with G-Savior plus most Gundam series don't work in theatrical time limit. Take F91 for example it didn't perform well because most of the plot was scrapped as it was meant to be a 50 episode series. So you get a rushed story. CCA is ok as a movie so long as you watched MSG, MSZG, and MSZZ. Otherwise, if you jumped straight into CCA, you'd be confused asf. Hell even short OVAs like 0083, 08th MS Team and 0080 would suck in a movie format because in their episodic state it's a story over 2hrs long and once condensed would be rushed. It's literally as if Sunrise learned from this when making Hathaway as its a movie in parts rather than them trying to condense the entire manga into one movie. Which makes me glad this teaser is just fan made garbage

'Gundam G' is the most memorable series for me. It has a good combination of love, romance, comedy, action, and adventure. It also features different types and designs of mecha. And I like the main character there -- Domon Kasshu.

Wow, Gundam bug live action movie even in Theaters?. I could give it a shot in the U.S. But the odds of getting it there well developed and great are as high as those of the never-ending battles of the story.
